Niall is an entrepreneur and experienced senior corporate professional, having started his own businesses and worked in international corporate business at the highest level.

He joined TU Dublin Enterprise Engagement in Oct 2024 as senior manager of the team delivering entrepreneurship programmes, supports and services (non-academic) by TU Dublin or in partnership with entrepreneurship ecosystem partners. This includes both regional (the general public) and student entrepreneurs business growth initiatives, events and programmes.

One of which includes leading the TU Dublin team delivering Enterprise Irelands New Frontiers programme, which is delivered on three locations being Dublin City Centre, Tallaght and Blanchardstown campuses.

Prior to joining TU Dublin, Niall successfully founded businesses, including his most recently social impact initiative in the climate sector and also for over 7 years was part of the senior management running Telefonica’s Wayra Ireland, Wayra UK and Wayra Social Ventures. This involved successfully managing the Irish and UK investment portfolio; creating multiple accelerators/innovation collaborative partnership locations across UK, leading on the majority of investments/exits into companies and partnership negotiations to generally create supports/initiatives for investable companies from pre-seed to exit. Niall also sat as group counsel over Telefonica's operational businesses in Ireland from 2015 to 2021.
