Decarbonising TU Dublin
TU Dublin is to host two ‘Decarbonising TU Dublin’ events across campuses at Blanchardstown and Linen Hall this October.
Students and staff are invited to hear about the latest TU Dublin Climate Action Roadmap and take part in an ‘Ideas Factory’ to make new connections across disciplines and across the University. The event will also facilitate students and staff to generate novel project ideas which could receive micro-grants through a new 2024/25 Green-Campus open call which will be launched at the event.
- Linen Hall, Gallery LI-033, Wednesday, 16 October, 2-5pm, including closing refreshments
- Blanchardstown campus, LINC, Friday, 25 October, 12:30-3:30pm including closing refreshments

We know that basic environmental actions still need to be progressed around the university. We understand that getting the basics right is important - but to ensure that this workshop is novel, innovative and captures new ideas for decarbonisation - we want to step back from the basics of reusable keep cups and separating waste correctly. Share your problem statements with us in advance and give us your feedback on particular challenges on the ground and within the classroom that you experience at your campus - problems and opportunities, big and small, can be shared - and participants should consider the potential for these to be addressed by Green-Campus micro-grants.
