The School of Media was extremely proud to host X-Pollinator last weekend in the East Quad on our Grangegorman campus. The event which aims to help address gender diversity in the Irish Screen industries brought together over 140 female, trans and non binary directors, writers and producers for a jam packed weekend of masterclasses, keynote lectures and networking. It was fantastic to see so many School of Media staff and graduates participating in the event, not to mention all of the amazing students who worked all weekend.

EDI is a core value of the School and we are very excited to see the amazing collaborations and projects that will emerge as a result of the event. X-POLLINATOR 2024 was supported by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland through the Screen Stakeholders Funding Scheme and Coimisiún na Meán , in association with Creative Europe Desk Ireland and School of Media at TUDublin. We were very grateful to our colleagues in the TU Dublin Enterprise Academy who provided invaluable sponsorship of the event.
