Coming to an end within the next month will be Damian Gordon's weekly one-page micro-lesson on the topic of Regular Expressions. The 40 weeks of lessons began on 15/06/2023 and will finish on 14/03/2024. This topic is becoming more and more relevant, as people use Regular Expressions in a growing range of diverse areas, such as Data Mining, Web Scraping, and Form Validation. Each page is written in plain English, with easy-to-understand examples, so it provides a simple entry into this topic, and a preview of the final booklet is below, it is a 40-page resource that can be used to help students (and lecturers) develop their understanding of Regular Expressions.

"If you want to learn how to write regular expressions, you have come to the right place. Every Thursday I'll be posting a single page of a booklet that I hope to write with you about regular expressions. Together we are going to explore why writing regular expressions are so useful, and we'll learn how to write increasingly complex regular expressions." - Damian Gordon
