Architectural Technologist & Divisional Sustainability Manager - Kingspan

I am an Architectural Technologist with experience leading a broad range of construction and sustainability driven projects in Europe, North America, Australasia and South East Asia. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Technology from DIT Bolton Street and a Master’s Degree in Energy and Sustainable Building Design from De Montfort University.
 
My current role is Divisional Sustainability Manager at Kingspan, responsible for the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy and management of issues related to sustainability across the global business. Key responsibilities include GRI and CDP reporting, Kingspan’s Net-Zero Energy 2020 Initiative, product life cycle assessments, technical support to local teams and design assistance on major projects. I have presented our work at conferences such Greenbuild Europe and the BusinessGreen Leaders Summit.  
 
Previously, I was a Technical Advisor with Kingspan Australasia. Assisting Architects, Engineers and Contractors with the design, specification and execution of façade and roof systems in the Australasian and South East Asian market. I have particular interests in sustainable construction, clean technology, resource efficiency, and climate change. I support the accelerated uptake of energy efficiency in the built environment as a board member of the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EuroACE).I am a steering group member of the Sustainability Skillnet, CDP Ireland Network and a member of the 40for30 Ireland's Sustainability Leaders of the Future network.
