Final Digi-Paint conference in Luxembourg
The Digi-Paint final project conference took place in the Centre de Compétences Parachèvement, Luxembourg, on September 6th 2023. This last conference ended the 18-month project that focussed on creating Digital Learning resources for the painting and decorating sector. During the final conference, the outputs were discussed and evaluated by the partners plus guests who attended online.
Following the conference, Mr Tom Lundy, representing the painting section of TU Dublin, remarked on the importance of the relationships that have been built through the Erasmus+ project, “It has been fantastic to be involved in this project and see it bear fruit like this. The links and connections we have made with our European partners will be so important for us all. Being on the European stage with partners involved in all aspects of education and training benefits us all through shared experiences and demonstrations of best practice.”

Part of the project involved creating the Digi-Paint Hub. This Hub for Teachers, Trainers, and in-company Tutors was established to bring together educators from across Europe, expanding the reach of the painting sector to include other building activities. This platform will connect with a thousand training centres throughout Europe, providing teachers in the construction industry with a valuable opportunity for ongoing interaction, knowledge-sharing, and access to a comprehensive database, which is an online social platform aiming to encourage discussion and sharing of ideas relevant to the trade.
