The ARISE initiative is proud to offer an innovative, multi-phase training programme designed to strengthen the collaboration between academia and industry. This programme aims to equip TU Dublin researchers and innovators with the skills to engage effectively with enterprises, fostering innovation and collaborative problem-solving.
Programme Overview:

Stage 1: Professional Development for TU Dublin Staff (2025)
Up to 6 cohorts of TU Dublin researchers will take part in this training, focused on developing core skills for enterprise engagement. Participants will explore strategic relationship building, effective communication, problem-solving, and creating impactful value propositions. The programme will be tailored to different experience levels and delivered in-person, blended, or online. -
Stage 2: Enterprise Engagement Training (2025-2026)
This stage brings together TU Dublin experts and enterprises from a range of sectors, including Advanced Manufacturing, Audio-Visual, Creative & Cultural, ICT & Financial Services, Food, Agritech, and Bio-Economy & Sustainability.- Phase 1: Workshops for TU Dublin staff and SMEs, tailored to their specific needs.
- Phase 2: ‘Match-Making’ sessions where companies are paired with relevant TU Dublin researchers.
- Phase 3: Joint problem-solving and solution development, with ongoing mentoring support.
- Phase 4: Formalised outcomes, documenting the enterprise’s innovation journey and future plans.
