Alignment with TU Dublin Research Strategy
CAMROH directly supports TU Dublin’s Research and Innovation Strategy by addressing major societal challenges in antimicrobial resistance and public health through a One Health approach. Its interdisciplinary research contributes to the university’s strategic priority area of “Health and Wellbeing for a Thriving Society” by promoting disease prevention, improving diagnostics, and informing health policy. CAMROH’s commitment to impactful, transdisciplinary research aligns with TU Dublin’s emphasis on delivering real-world solutions in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (particularly SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production). Through stakeholder engagement, collaborative partnerships, and knowledge translation, CAMROH emboides the university’s vision of engagement, openness, and societal impact as outlined in its strategic actions for engagement, collaboration, and nurturing research talent.
