Secondary School Students talking

TU Dublin Access & Outreach provided an overview of the university and highlighted a range of courses relevant to the healthcare sector, helping students understand the educational opportunities available and the pathways they could pursue towards a future career in healthcare.

By bringing together healthcare professionals, recent graduates, university representatives and secondary school students, it gave students a practical insight into the skills, pathways and opportunities associated with working in healthcare, while encouraging them to think about how their own interests and strengths could translate into a future career.

The collaboration between Mater Private Network and TU Dublin reflects a shared commitment to education, outreach and supporting the next generation. Initiatives like these are an important way to engage with young people at a key stage in their educational journey, helping them make informed decisions about their future and showcasing the many ways they could contribute to healthcare.
