The Access and Outreach Office at TU Dublin is dedicated to school engagement, beginning its work with students at an early age to nurture ambition and build awareness of the opportunities available in higher education. By engaging with pupils throughout their educational journey — from primary through to post-primary level — the team aims to develop confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging within the university environment. Through initiatives such as school visits, campus tours, interactive workshops, and information sessions, students are encouraged to explore their interests and consider future study options. Working closely with teachers and guidance counsellors, the Access and Outreach Office ensures that students receive the information and support they need to make informed choices. This early and sustained engagement helps to raise aspirations, promote inclusion, and strengthen TU Dublin’s connection with schools and their communities.
