Driving Entrepreneurship
TU Dublin fosters entrepreneurship through various initiatives, programmes, and support systems. These include incubation spaces, mentorship opportunities, and access to funding, all designed to empower student and graduate entrepreneurs.
TU Dublin Foundation collaborates with philanthropic partners on some of these entrepreneurship programmes, including the TrailblazHER programme and the Dare to Discover initiatives.
The TrailblazHER™ programme is a community of people, organisations and enterprises with a shared commitment to advancing gender equality. TrailblazHER™ supports women with the unique challenges they face as job seekers, job creators and leaders by delivering a range of experiences and supports for schoolgoers, higher education students, alumni, entrepreneurs and Irish businesses.
The TrailblazHER™ model is built around three pillars, each engaging with our target demographic at a different stage of their life and career.
- TrailblazHER™ Inspire supports young females at second level
- TrailblazHER™ Develop supports and empowers females at third level and as they advance from TU Dublin and into the workforce
- TrailblazHER™ Innovate supports females as they develop through their career, towards leadership or indeed self-employment.
