About
The Digital Education Futures Collective at TU Dublin is an interdisciplinary initiative with a forward-thinking agenda. It’s not about the tech, it’s about reimaging education itself.
The Digital Education Futures Collective is a cross-faculty cross-function initiative, established to provide practical hands-on and financial support for staff exploring and trialling education technology trends that impact how we teach and learn. Its ultimate aim is to help position our university as a leader in the digital education futures space in the higher education sector in Ireland. Part funded by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (HEA) under the SATLE initiative, the Collective's focus for the coming three years is on furthering eXtended reality (VR, AR, MR) in education at TU Dublin. The Collective will also serve as an incubation hub during this time for other future trends, the first of which is AI Virtual Assistants.
