Communication & Marketing (C&M) would like to increase digitisation of the communications channels it is using to interact with the users. The email hello@tudublin.ie was introduced in August 2024 and it was considered a success; in July 2025 an automated telephone system was installed as well, which also significantly assisted with effectively managing user queries (by directing them to the right staff) and increasing user satisfaction. C&M believes that the adoption of an AI-assisted chatbot on the tudublin.ie website will further enhance user satisfaction and customer service efficiency.
At the moment the maximum waiting time for emails is one hour. The team would like to further reduce this by the adoption of an AI-assisted chatbot. Further, both internal and external users, who shared their feedback regarding the website, expressed the wish to see a chatbot to ask for information in a more interactive way. MS Copilot is being considered as the solution for this project.
