Digital Education Advisory Group
Digital Education is a key strategic focus for TU Dublin that runs across all three pillars of our Strategic Intent 2030, and, through the work of the Digital Education Team, Academic Affairs is providing leadership for, and support in, this cross-functional area.
A Digital Education Policy was published in 2023, followed by an Implementation Plan in 2024. Given that our university is an ever-changing and evolving system inseparable from its environment and the sectoral context within which it operates, the Implementation Plan must be kept current, and executed in a flexible manner, in close consultation with TU Dublin’s diverse teaching community, as they engage continually with digitally enhanced learning, teaching and assessment practices in ‘In-Person On-Campus Technology-enabled’, ‘Blended’, ‘Online’ and/or ‘HyFlex’ modules.
The University Digital Education Advisory Group will provide advice, advocacy and direction on maximising the full benefits of the projects and activities as they currently stand in the plan, as well as proposing appropriate amendments or additions to those projects and activities in line with changes in their teaching environment and the needs of their students.
The Advisory Group will also be able to provide, and/or gather, critical feedback to inform Academic Affairs and their ongoing work in the digital education space.
