Unlucky in love, Corkonian Alice reluctantly readies herself for her sister’s big day (always the bridesmaid, never the bride), when a chance encounter on the dancefloor with lad-about-town Warren sends her spiraling through the neon-slicked streets of Dublin.
In an epic chase for love on the strangest night of her life, Alice tumbles deeper into the city’s underbelly, bombarded by grinning politicians, a chain-vaping taxi driver with questionable wisdom, the self-help mafia, media gargoyles, a melodramatic club kid with a broken heart, and of course, Delores — the Queen of Hartstown.
Things sure ain’t what they used to be. The looking glass is well and truly cracked. But is true love possible on the other side… or is this town just full of clowns?
