Visionaries: An Opera in Three Acts

VISIONARIES is an opera in three acts, celebrating European women and promoting European values. It was created by the BRAVO Erasmus+ project: Celebrating the Brave and Resilient Achievements of Visionary European Women through Opera. The three women celebrated in the opera are Eleanor of Aquitaine, Christine de Pisan, and Marie Curie.

BRAVO is a collaboration between five partner institutions across three countries. Staff and students from the Bellini Conservatoire in Italy, Eszterházy University in Hungary, and TU Dublin in Ireland created the three separate acts of VISIONARIES. They come together to perform the full opera with orchestra, chamber choir, and principal singers at TU Dublin Concert Hall on Friday 30 October 2026.

This project is co-funded by the European Union.
