Five TU Dublin Students Make 2022 RDS Visual Art Awards Shortlist
An incredible five TU Dublin graduates have been shortlisted for the 2022 RDS Visual Art Awards and will showcase their work in the RDS Concert Hall from October 21-29.
The RDS Visual Art Awards is the most important platform for visual art graduates in Ireland. It provides a curated exhibition opportunity and a significant prize fund of over €30,000, as well as vital exposure for emerging visual artists as they move into early professional practice.
Over the last few months, a team of independent curators visited the BA & MA degree shows in 13 Irish art colleges, including TU Dublin, and longlisted 109 artists. From the initial longlist of 109, the judging panel shortlisted 28 artists, with 13 exhibitors selected for the 2022 RDS Visual Art Awards exhibition. The winners will be announced on Thursday, 20 October.
