Anthony joined the lecturing team in DIT in 2013 and is teaching a wide range of Computer Aided Design to Visual Merchandising and Interiors & Furniture students.

Anthony graduated in 2002 with a BDES Hons in Jewellery & Metal Design followed by an MA in Design – CAD & CAM Lighting, Illuminated Shapes in 2008 from the National College of Art and Design. He has been lecturing part-time in the Ceramics, Glass, Jewellery & Metals Department in the NCAD since 2005 and since 2014 he has also been lecturing part-time model making in IADT in Dun Laoghaire.

Apart from his passion for teaching and passing on his knowledge, Anthony is a highly motivated creative designer and maker specialist with over ten years expertise in all fields of computer aided design including 3D design with rapid-prototyping.

Beside his lecturing career, Anthony has been working many years as a freelance designer and gained experience in many different aspects of concept, development and realisation of objects and projects. He also works as a creative web designer, achieving many successful developments. Anthony is well respected within a strong network of key influencers across design, manufacturing and education in Ireland.

Anthony’s maxim is: “The future of manufacturing and design is not to think outside the box, but to rather to think inside the box of the 3D printer.”
