Conor Heelan is a lecturer in print and prepress technologies. He currently teaches on the BA (Hons) Design—Visual Communication TU973 and the MA in Graphic Design Practice TU381/3
After working in the print industry for over ten years he joined the university in 2001.
He holds a senior trade certificate in Lithographic Printing and qualifications in information technology and education. During his time with TU Dublin, he has developed and delivered personalised CPD programs for the print industry. Clients include the Revenue Printing Centre, Wheatfield Prison Print and Smurfit Kappa.

At the undergraduate level, he teaches Design Applications and artwork production for Print and 3D Printing & Laser Cutting. At the postgraduate level, his focus is on commercial print production.

When not working Conor is involved in several adventure sports including skydiving, kite surfing and sailing.
