The BRAVO project – Celebrating the Bold and Resilient Achievements of Visionary European Women through Opera is an Erasmus+ KA220 Strategic Partnership International Project. The aim of the project, which is being implemented under the leadership of the coordinating higher education institution, the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Vincenzo Bellini in Sicily, is to create a contemporary opera production that presents the values of the European Union through the portrayal of three historical female figures: Eleanor of Aquitaine; Christine de Pizan; Marie Curie.

The new opera, Visioniaries, performed by university students and lecturers, will be premiered in Italy and Hungary as well as TU Dublin Concert Hall in 2026/2027.
