SCAFT Student Wins at World Skills Ireland Competition 2025

A huge congratulations to our student Mya Adams who took first place winning the title of National Champion in Restaurant Service at WorldSkills Ireland 2025. The competition combines both classic and modern skills focusing on areas such fine dining, banqueting, casual dining, and bar/barista service.
WorldSkills Ireland is Irelands largest skills and apprenticeship showcase, held over 3 days in the RDS Simmonscourt, and was attended by over 30,000 students in 2025.
Mya is currently a 4th year student on our BA (hons) in Culinary Arts TU942.
