BA Visual Merchandising & Design programme chair, Michelle Lalor, facilitated a collaborative workshop involving second-year Visual Merchandising Degree students and the Centre for Sustainable Solutions Ireland (C.S.S).
The workshop  formed part of the “Fashion Reimagined: XR & Circular Economy for a Sustainable Future” Erasmus project. TU Dublin School of Art and Design students collaborated with 15 Erasmus lecturers from Turkey, Italy, Spain, France, and Poland to promote cross-cultural exchange.
The workshop focused on practical, community-oriented strategies for sustainable fashion by linking European educators with Visual Merchandising Design students. During the event, TU Dublin students demonstrated professionalism, while Erasmus lecturers presented innovative techniques for displaying and styling sustainable, recycled artefacts.
The Centre for Sustainable Solutions Ireland have recognised these contributions by awarding a commemorative plaque.
