Launch of Events of Art and Education in Post-Climate Times

The launch of Events of Art and Education in Post-Climate Times (Routledge, 2025), by Prof. Carl Anders Säfström and Dr. Glenn Loughran will take place 17th September.

 

Developed over several conferences and seminars, the publication brings together a diverse group of educators and artists to reflect on shifts in the perception of educational practices in the context of climate change.

 

Highlights of the publication include Prof. Sharon Todd's Black Swan Pedagogy: Remnant Ecologies and Navigating the Difficulties of Disruption and Loss. Prof. Gert Biesta’s As if the World Is Waiting for Our Opinion: In Search of a (Re)configuration and TU Dublin Lecturer Barbara Kneževic’s Sculptural Knowing.
