TU976 BA (Hons) Photography Graduates win Sigma Talent on the Double!
On Thursday, October 22nd, the awardees of the Sigma Talent Artist Awards 2026 were announced at Photo Museum Ireland by curator Darren Campion. It was an exceptional outcome for the TU Dublin BA (Hons) in Photography programme, with two of the three awards available going to 2026 graduates, Darragh Hickey and Adam Tucker.
Both Darragh and Adam produced stellar bodies of work for their graduate exhibitions in May-June, and have sold significant numbers of their photobooks in the interim. Darragh’s project, ‘How we Live,’ is a longform contemporary documentary project exploring the instability of Dublin’s renting culture through the lens of young adults navigating a house crisis. Adam’s project, ‘Misadventure,’ explores the untimely death of his uncle.
The Sigma Talent Artist Award at Photo Museum Ireland is part of Sigma’s ongoing global commitment to supporting creative excellence. The three recent graduates selected for the Sigma Talents Artist Awards each receive a €2,000 development bursary, exhibition support, access to professional-grade Sigma equipment, and monthly curatorial mentoring from PMI, the Sigma team, and international photography experts.
