Second Year IHTM Students Tour Distelleries
Just before the 2026 Easter break, the year 2 IHTM students as part of their wine and beverage studies module took a tour to delve into the art of distilling. At Bowe Street in the Jameson Distillery, longstanding tour guide Niall took us on an immersive experience by his wit and storytelling.
The Jameson tour's use of technology in bringing the art of distilling to life for the students truly adds to a super learning experience. While at Roe and Co, our tour guide Miguel took the time to engage with each student and then gave them a masterclass in cocktail making concentrating on the balance of flavours. Two exceptional representations of our Irish Whiskey-making heritage.
