TUD.Treads
Tutor Michelle Lalor is excited to announce that Year Three Visual Merchandising Design students at Technological University Dublin are bringing back the pop-up preloved apparel shop! Their preparations are truly impressive, drawing on their work placement experience and putting theory into practice—just look at their editorial styling work. I have a strong feeling this event will be something special. These students are ready to transform the East Quad with an experience like nothing you’ve seen before. Get ready for “tud.threads”. Threads is a pop-up experience, inspired by the art of fashion, highlighting craftsmanship, sustainability, and layering. Created by final-year Visual Merchandising students, their aim is to create an immersive space where not only can you buy second-hand garments, but also to showcase the importance of fashion as an artistic form. Threads will feature activities, second-hand clothing, DJs, and many more, situated in the heart of TU Dublin's creative corner. Mark your diaries: the pop-up shop will be open on 11th, 12th, and 13th November at the East Quad, School of Art and Design, TU Dublin, Grangegorman, D07 XFF2, on the ground floor.
10% of all proceeds will go to Focus Ireland
