Pharos University (PUA)

The collaboration between PUA and TU Dublin officially dates to May 2010 when PUA was first acknowledged as an academic partner of Dublin Institute of Technology. TU Dublin validates the TU309a BSc in Business and Management dual degree four-year honours programme and has built an extensive relationship with PUA over recent years.

Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) is the first private university in the North of Egypt founded by the late Mr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Ragab, the former Chairman of Ragab Group, and Founder of Alexandria Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET), Riada Language Schools, and Forsan International Schools.

PUA was established according to a Presidential Decree in 2006 and has made excellence in the educational process a cornerstone of its strategy, as reflected by its mission and vision. PUA aspires to be one of the leading comprehensive universities in the region and across the globe. It strives to meet the community's needs, with its continuing technological development and approaches to enhancing its students’ educational, professional, research and leadership abilities. The PUA Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences (FFAS) is a leading Business School in Alexandria and Partner of the Faculty of Business in Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) for more than a decade.

In February 2022, FFAS received the quality accreditation of the independent National Authority of Quality Assurance, and Accreditation in Egypt (NAQAAE), an independent body under the Egyptian Cabinet of Ministers, to be one of only three out of more than 50 business faculties in Egypt and the only one in Alexandria to receive this honour.
