Michael O'Dell is an architect and lecturer from Limerick.  He graduated with honours from Dublin Insitute of Technology in 2011 and from there completed a Master's in 2017 with first class honours.

Joining TU Dublin in 2014, he teaches architectural design studio, technical studio and visual communications.  Prior to this, Michael taught in University College Dublin, in design studio and structures at undergraduate and masters level in the schools of Architecture and Engineering.  He has also acted as a guest critic at the University of Limerick.

In practice he works with JFOC Architects formerly with Dominic Stevens Architects where work is predominantly concerned with single and multi-unit, housing design.  Previously Michael worked with Solearth Ecological Architecture, Built by Associative Data, and Steve Larkin Architects.  Michael was president of the Architectural Association of Ireland 2015 and recipient of the Arts Council Architecture bursary in 2016.
