Women in Technology United (WITU) - Meet and Greet Event
Members of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, City Campus WITU group held a "Meet & Greet" student event on Tuesday 26th September. This informal event provided an opportunity for female, and those identifying as female, engineering students across our apprenticeship, level 7, 8, and 9 programmes to get to know and/or catch up with each other and with some staff on our engineering programmes in City Campus.
Over 40 students and staff members attended and a free lunch was provided by the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Opportunities to engage with further WITU and ESTeEM events in semester one were highlighted to the students and a follow up survey will be distributed to the attendees to gather feedback from them and inform the future direction of such events.
