Erasmus & International Exchange

Non-Standard - EU Erasmus Scheme:

The School of Transport and Civil Engineering has recently signed an Erasmus Agreement with the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic) which will provide an opportunity for 3rd year students on the BSc in Sustainable Transport Management to undertake an Erasmus programme and study abroad for a semester, beginning in January 2023. Students on this level 8 course can also do a work placement in Ireland or abroad during their 3rd year of study.

As part of the EU Erasmus Scheme, students from other European Union institutes, with whom there are direct exchange agreements can spend either 1 or 2 semesters in the programme. These exchanges are organised by special arrangement on an individual case basis for 3rd year level 8 programmes.

Nominations for all other courses for Semester 1 occur in March and for Semester 2 in September. Interested students should contact Caitriona Quinn ( as early as possible.
