Access to Apprenticeship 2021 Programme Applications Now Open

TU Dublin is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the Access to Apprenticeship programmes taking place in January and April 2021.

The Access to Apprenticeship (ATA) Programme is for young men and women aged 16 to 24 living in Dublin who experience social and economic barriers and aims to help them progress into an apprenticeship training programme. ATA provides an opportunity for them to:

  • Sample a range of apprenticeships in; Construction, Engineering, Electrical and Motor,
  • Prepare their CV and interview skills, 
  • Undertake two weeks of work experience,   
  • Get Health & Safety and Safe Pass Certificates. 

ATA is full-time, takes 12 weeks with our next course due to run in January 2021. Due to COVID-19, there are a limited number of places available for January. Applicants who wish to be considered for January must apply by Friday, 27 November 2020. We recommend starting the application as soon as possible as it could take some time to get the required documentation together. Once applications are completed, please scan and email them to accesstoapprenticeship@TUDublin.ie or they can be posted to the below:

We are not accepting applications for student’s currently enrolled and attending school. For those students finishing school, we would advise you to apply for the September 2021 intake.
