New Multi-Sports playing area opens in Grangegorman
TU Dublin Sports, in collaboration with the Grangegorman Development Agency, are delighted to announce the opening of a brand new Multi-Sports Playing Area in Grangegorman.
Located adjacent to the Tennis Courts and the All-weather soccer pitch, this area is open for use by TU Dublin students, staff and the local community.
Following a successful Sports Capital Grant application for this project, Kompan Ireland was awarded the contract to complete this development which includes multi-goal ends for basketball and 5-a-side soccer and includes a newly surfaced and line marked open space area for general play. This project will be a welcome addition to the existing facilities, and we are in no doubt it will get great usage from our returning students, staff and the general public.
