TU Dublin Drama student Loré Adewusi Spotlight 2021 Finalist

Published: 21 May, 2021

Final-year Drama student Loré Adewusi has been announced as a finalist in the prestigious Spotlight Prize for 2021.

Over 70 drama schools and universities from Ireland and the UK were invited to nominate a student from their graduating class to submit a self-tape audition for this year's Spotlight Prize. Loré Adewusi, representing the final year class of the Drama (Performance) programme delivered by TU Dublin Conservatoire, is one of 20 finalists selected by a panel of industry experts based on the quality of their audition.

The Spotlight Prize is an annual event where graduate nominees have a chance for their performance to be showcased in front of industry professionals. Previous nominees have included Bessie Carter (Bridgerton), Edward Bluemel (A Discovery of Witches), Rosalind Eleazar (The Personal History of David Copperfield) and Yasmin Mwanza (Spider-Man: Far From Home).

In July,  Paulette Randall MBE will direct Loré as he films his monologue for consideration by an esteemed panel of casting directors, with the winner announced on Friday, 30 July. More information about the Spotlight Prize is available here
