TU Dublin Retirement Event
The inaugural TU Dublin Retirement Event was held on Monday, 27 November, in the East Quad's Concert Hall in Grangegorman.
The event, organised by the Employee Engagement team, recognised our colleagues' invaluable contributions, acknowledged their impact, and commemorated the milestone of their retirement. Colleagues who have retired since January 2019 were invited to attend, with light refreshments served and beautiful music from some of our students of TU Dublin Conservatoire showcased on the evening.
TU Dublin President, Professor David Fitzpatrick and Registrar and Deputy President, Dr Mary Meaney, spoke at the event, acknowledging and expressing gratitude for the contribution of the retirees throughout their careers. Retirees were presented with a small token of appreciation from the University; a framed photograph by one of our former students, Rowan O'Brien.
