TU Dublin welcomes Mature and Advanced Entry Students

Published: 20 Jul, 2023

We want to extend a warm welcome to all our mature and advanced entry students joining us this academic year. Returning to education is an exciting prospect and a positive step.

However, we are acutely aware that mature students may face specific challenges often different from those facing traditional CAO applicants. With this in mind, we have put in place a range of tailored supports to make your transition into higher education as smooth as possible. As part of this support, we provide an Orientation Programme for Mature and Advanced Entry students before programme-specific academic Orientation sessions.

In previous years 94% of students who attended our orientation sessions said they would recommend them to fellow students.

We’re conscious that mature students may have family and work commitments, and with this in mind, we have designed a programme of orientation activities to choose from. You may select the individual sessions that are most relevant to you. All sessions will be delivered in a hybrid format: in-person in our Grangegorman Campus (Central Quad Room CQ-009) and online.
