TU Dublin and BT Sourced collaboration a finalist for prestigious Excellence in Learning Award

Enterprise Academy drives game-changing collaboration
Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) and BT Sourced have been announced as finalists in the Learning and Development Institute's Excellence in Learning Awards 2025, recognising the “Certificate in Applied Procurement Management” programme in its most "Innovative Collaboration" award category. This successful university enterprise partnership has delivered a strategic learning solution designed to upskill BT Sourced employees, enhance their procurement capabilities, and drive the company's strategic objectives.
The Enterprise Academy, played a pivotal role in facilitating the partnership, connecting BT Sourced with the university’s School of Business Technology, Retail and Supply Chain to create a tailored, accredited programme. This collaboration ensured that the learning experience combined academic rigour with practical industry insights, directly benefiting both the employees and BT Sourced.
"Partnering with TU Dublin gives BT Sourced that edge and makes us attractive to procurement professionals who want to join our organisation. They see that we care about the development of our people, and that enables us to attract and retain top talent in a very competitive market," said Kesiena Ebenade, Capability Manager, Learning & Development at BT Sourced.
The programme, developed collaboratively with input from the Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and Skillnet Ireland, addresses the critical need for advanced procurement skills in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. By focusing on areas such as sustainable supply chain management, emerging procurement technologies, and strategic supplier relations, the initiative has empowered BT Sourced employees to become change agents from within their organisation.
