TU Dublin Welcomes Malaysian Delegation to Explore Collaboration Opportunities

TU Dublin was delighted to welcome a delegation from the Embassy of Malaysia in Dublin and Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) to the Grangegorman campus.
Led by H.E. Ambassador Sharon Swee Peng Peng Ho, the delegation met with Dr Deirdre Lillis, President of TU Dublin, and staff from across the University to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration across Engineering and Technology, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Computing and AI.
Discussions focused on opportunities for student and staff exchanges, joint research and PhD programmes, industry co-op opportunities, and partnerships with Malaysian universities.
The visit reflects TU Dublin’s commitment to building a vibrant international academic network and creating opportunities for global learning, research and innovation. Through partnerships across Europe, the United States, Brazil, China, India, Malaysia and Indonesia, TU Dublin supports students and staff to collaborate across borders and exchange diverse perspectives.
These international partnerships complement TU Dublin’s practice-based approach to education, connecting academic learning with real-world experience and helping students develop the practical skills and confidence needed for the future workplace.
TU Dublin looks forward to building on the discussions and developing meaningful partnerships with Malaysian universities and organisations.
