LibKey Nomad: Get easy full text access on the open web
Wherever you start your research journey, the Library can help with LibKey Nomad.
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that gives you easy, one-click access to journal articles. It activates on websites such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Wikipedia, publisher websites, and within AI chats. A Download PDF button appears wherever a listed article includes a DOI/PMID and the content is available via the Library.

It is quick and easy to install the extension for the browser of your choice. Once you select TU Dublin as your institution LibKey will start working. It will automatically kick in whenever you are on a website with lists of scholarly articles.
When you click on a Download PDF button LibKey gets the best available version of an article for you. LibKey also allows you to browse the contents of the journal issue the article is from, facilitating easier access to relevant information.
Scholarly integrity is a key part of LibKey. It will flag problems with articles including cases where:
- Articles have been retracted because of fraudulent data, plagiarism or other types of misconduct
- Articles are under query
- Articles contain references to retracted material
