TU Dublin Library Services is delighted to work with the Feis Ceoil Association as part of Feis Ceoil 2025, taking place at All Hallows, DCU from 7th- 15th June.
Since its foundation in 1896, the Feis Ceoil Association has sought to promote excellence in the learning and performance of music across all ages, levels and disciplines. The association runs a series of events throughout the year, with a festival in Dublin each year which comprises almost 200 competitions for performance and composition, attracting over 5,000 participants from all over the island of Ireland.
TU Dublin Library Services is proud to share its collection of music scores—spanning eras, regions, vocals and instruments—with Feis Ceoil, celebrating a shared commitment to musical heritage and education
Amongst the pieces chosen are
- Modern school for snare drum: with a guidebook for the artist percussionist / Morris Goldenberg
- Thirteen songs for high voice & piano / Lee Hoiby
- Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini op. 43 : for piano and orchestra [music] / Rachmaninoff
