The team was delighted to welcome Taoiseach Micheál Martin TD to the TU Dublin marquee in Tullamore, where staff showcased the breadth of the University’s Sciences and Health educational offering, including:

  • Engaging science outreach activities designed to inspire a love of science among young people
  • The importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices for well-being
  • The critical role of food research in supporting Ireland’s agri-food sector
  • TU Dublin’s national and global leadership in Optometry and Eye Health

The event was a showcase of how practice-based learning and cutting-edge research come together at TU Dublin. By combining hands-on experiences with world-class research, our students are developing the knowledge and skills to make a real impact on society.

A sincere thank you to everyone who visited the TU Dublin marquee and joined us for inspiring conversations and a celebration of science in action!
