Overview

The Funding and Sustainability Pillar focuses on ensuring CEBII's long-term growth, impact, and strategic development. As the Centre builds momentum in research excellence and societal engagement, sustainable funding models and investment pathways are essential.

This Pillar supports the identification of funding opportunities aligned with the Centre’s mission and fosters members' capacity to engage in collaborative grant activities. It also plays a key role in ensuring that CEBII can continue to expand its programmes, partnerships, and contributions over time.

Through strategic planning, resource development, and funding leadership, this Pillar underpins the Centre's future success.

Goals for 2026

In 2026, this Pillar will:

• Develop a coordinated funding strategy to support the Centre’s research and innovation priorities
• Identify national and European funding opportunities aligned with CEBII’s mission
• Strengthen capacity for collaborative and interdisciplinary funding applications
• Support sustainable growth through long-term investment, partnerships, and strategic planning
