Stirring Words is a literary magazine dedicated to imaginative food writing, rooted in the Gastronomy and Food Studies at TU Dublin.

At the heart of this magazine is an annual summer edition featuring the creative writing pieces from the Food Writing and Media module on the MA Gastronomy and Food Studies at TU Dublin, edited, designed and produced by a student editorial team.

The magazine was launched in 2024, under the direction of Anke Klitzing, featuring the writings of the sixth cohort of the MA in Gastronomy and Food Studies students.

The aim of Stirring Words is to promote and celebrate imaginative writing about food in all its forms and to provide a platform for the creative writing of students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of TU Dublin.
