Plasma PLUS highlights project achievements at the PlasTHER COST Action (CA20114) events

COST Actions are interdisciplinary research networks that brings researchers and innovators together to investigate a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) related topic of their choice for 4 years.  They are open to anyone in the research field including potential members from academia, industry, young researchers, PhD students, etc. It aims to promote networking, collaboration and growth in a specific research field.

Plasma PLUS members were part of the recently concluded, PlasTher COST Action CA20114 dedicated to medical and biomedical applications of cold atmospheric plasmas. PlasTHER was established to investigate the unprecedented possibilities of atmospheric pressure plasmas in medicine. PlasTHER aimed to and have greatly contributed to:

To aid innovation in the field and collaborations, and to support researchers, PlasTHER organized varied events including the annual training schools and annual meetings. Plasma PLUS members have attended these events the past 2 years. The events were a great opportunity for the members to keep up-to-date with the research in the field, develop collaborations, growth their network and to present the hard work of the group through several oral and poster presentations.

Now that PlasTHER has come to a finish, Plasma PLUS would like express their gratitude for the support and opportunities PlasTHER has given the group over the last few years.
