MiCRA is one of Ireland’s leading research facilities

MiCRA is an industry-led research and development facility located at TU Dublin, Tallaght. The work of the facility is supported by Enterprise Ireland’s Technology Gateways programme and is funded through industrial collaboration. MiCRA has a strong and growing portfolio of applied research, making knowledge and expertise accessible to both local and national industry.

The facility is staffed by professionals in business development and project management, as well as electrochemists, chemists, microbiologists, physical scientists, and engineers, who work together to offer technical solutions that drive product development.

MiCRA partners academic applied research with entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs, and large industrial companies to deliver research projects spanning agriculture, food technology, sustainability, analytical services, sensor technology, and more.
