Course Title: Bachelor of Engineering in Aviation Technology
This course will prepare you for a career in the aviation industry. You’ll learn about the principles of flight, the information systems integral to aviation/aircraft operations, and the complex inter-relationships in the various sub-sectors of the industry (legislative design, manufacturing, commercial, operations and maintenance).
Subjects include maths for technology, electricity & electronics, aerodynamics, aircraft engines, aeronautical workshop practice, engineering mechanics, avionics, aviation legislation, financial management & accounting, commercial maintenance management, spares & logistics, and airline operations.

Applications for undergraduate courses commencing in September 2026 will open in November 2025. Applications will close in June 2026.
Advanced entry applications are currently not accepted to this course.
Students who have reached the appropriate honours standard have access to a range of Level 8 programmes in TU Dublin and elsewhere in Higher Education at Universities in Ireland, Europe and further afield.
