Gareth Sheridan is the founder and CEO of US-based Nutriband Inc, a company he founded after graduating with his BSc in Business and Management in 2012.  Nutriband Inc is primarily engaged in the development of transdermal pharmaceutical products. While Gareth part funded Nutriband as a start-up by working part-time as a painter during the final year of his undergraduate studies, he successfully led the company to a listing on the Nasdaq in 2021.

In addition to his CEO responsibilities at Nutriband, Gareth is also an independent consultant for several companies and a private investor.

Gareth looks forward to working with students who are interested in innovation and being their own boss. He can offer advice in how to turn ideas into reality, including capital structures and on to have perseverance in the early stages of getting and enterprise off the ground. Gareth is particularly interested in working with TU Dublin students with innovative ideas, particularly ideas involving disruptive technologies, as well as in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and wellness markets.

When Gareth is not working, he enjoys travelling, attending sports games, and socialising.
