Entrepreneurial Ambassador with the Graduate Business School

An engineer by profession, Paul has co-founded and scaled several technology-based businesses – and has the scars and the war stories that go with that experience. His passion is figuring out how to scale businesses cost-effectively (helping them avoid some of the mistakes he made).

Currently Paul is Founder and Managing Director of Select Strategies Limited, which for over two decades have been trusted advisers to CEOs striving to scale their businesses. He currently serves on the Boards of several investor-backed businesses and has also had a number of successful exits. He has worked on growth focused programmes with the TU Dublin Graduate Business School for many years and he has also been a guest speaker at Stanford University and the University of Cambridge.

Paul is particularly interested in working with business leaders and their senior leadership teams to make growth happen. He believes that the growth and scaleup of indigenous businesses can be transformative – for communities, for shareholders, for the country. He can offer particular advice in the area of strategy, scaling growth planning and business execution. He is author/co-author of several books including Select Selling; The Business Battlecard and The Growth Roadmap®.

In his spare time Paul is an avid Leinster fan, a struggling Triathlete and a bad golfer.

A message from Paul:

"I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with the students of TU Dublin to explore new business ideas and to support future entrepreneurs. I am thrilled to be an Entrepreneurial Ambassador. It feels great to be able to work with and support future entrepreneurs."
