Current Funded Projects

Over 2025/26, four flagship projects are being funded via the HEA National Forum Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement (SATLE) fund. Immersive Technology for Digital Tourism and Architectural Anatomy XR are aimed at furthering XR in Education at TU Dublin. The VR Taster Series sets out to give as many academics as possible an opportunity to try out VR technology in a safe and supported environment. Marketing AI Assistant (MAIA) is an incubation project exploring Virtual Assistants. Full project descriptions and the contact details of the project leads are provided below. It is intended that, over future years, the Digital Education Futures Collective will fund and support a wider variety of digital education trends.
