Climate Action Week 2026
From Monday 12 to Friday 16 October, TU Dublin will celebrate Climate Action Week 2026 with a dynamic programme of events, workshops, talks, and activities designed to inspire action, build knowledge, and empower our community to help shape a more sustainable future.
Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time, and universities have a vital role to play in driving solutions. Across the University, TU Dublin is advancing a range of strategic projects and initiatives that are transforming our campuses, reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and strengthening climate resilience.

Throughout the week, students, staff, and the wider TU Dublin community will have the opportunity to learn more about the University's ambitious sustainability journey, including our commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 51% by 2030 and improve energy efficiency by 50% by 2030.
Achieving these goals will require innovation, collaboration, and collective action. Climate Action Week is an opportunity for everyone to discover how their everyday choices, ideas, and actions can contribute to meaningful change both on campus and beyond. With events taking place across all campuses, participants can explore practical climate solutions, hear from experts and changemakers, connect with like-minded colleagues and students, and contribute to progress on the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13: Climate Action.
New activities and opportunities will continue to be added, so be sure to check back regularly for updates.
