Dr. Mick O’Hara an artist and lecturer in TU974 Fine Art and TU978 Creative Industries and Visual Culture at Technological University Dublin, School of Art and Design. He is an active researcher with both the Aesthetics Seminar Group and Digital Studies Group for the past twelve years at the Graduate School of Creative Art and Media (GradCAM). He is member of the ECT Lab, part of the European University of Technology and has contributed to multiple KA220 Erasmus+ and MSCA projects. He has exhibited nationally and internationally and has published work on such subjects as the philosophy of technology, the aesthetics of the post-digital, and the aesthetics of football. His research examines the history of computation and the role of computational ontologies and its materialization in contemporary technology.
